Laura McWhorter combines the traditional textile arts of knitting, weaving, spinning, and felting along with embroidery, beading and stitching to craft one-of-a-kind bags, wearables, and artwork. Merino wool is the primary material used in her art, with the frequent addition of silk fibers and beads of glass and natural materials.  Laura is recognized as a reputable fiber artist in middle Tennessee and is  recognized as a great workshop presenter in the region.
