^{What the heck is flux? Pickle? Fire Scale?  Learn the language, tools and tips for silver smithing.} 

^{In this all day workshop, learn how to solder a bezel and set a cabochon to create a substantial sterling silver & stone ring.}

^{Learn the silver soldering techniques that contemporary Silversmiths and Native American Indians have used successfully for over a hundred years. The technique allows you to use an inexpensive butane torch and a minimum of tools, many of which you may already have. Wouldn't it be great to be able to say "I made it" when people comment on your bodacious ring!? The soldering techniques you learn in this class are also used in many other types contemporary jewelry and other styles of silver smithing.}

This class will teach you all of the fundamental skills of wire wrapping. The clasp is hand crafted, and will enable you to adjust the sizing of the bracelet, as well as making it a breeze to put on all by yourself! (Great for those with arthritis). We'll discuss tools and the proper way to use them, wire tempers, gauges and techniques for hardening, oxidizing and polishing your new treasure.

Combinations of gold, silver and copper are used to make dozens of variations of this classic wire wrapped bracelet.Twist some wire or leave it all smooth and sleek. Delicate and dainty, or bold and dramatic.

Your choice, your design! Wear it uptown or downtown!
